1968 Pontiac GTO Convertible. Factory Color - Springmist Green (code P) - very rare color on a 1968 GTO. Born First Week (07A) in July 1968 in Freemont California. Body number is 00580, which is strange for a late year build. Rare options include - 8-Track Stereo Tape Player, Rally Stripes, Head Restraints. Also came with a Gold (code 8) Convertible Top (was more like Tan, but Pontiac called it Gold) and Parchment (off White) Interior (probably a rare combination, but numbers cannot be proven). Previous owners changed the Interior to Black and the Top to Black. I do not have the numbers matching engine (400 c.i.), so the car now has a 455 c.i. from 1973. Original Automatic Transmission is in the car with a Hurst His/Hers Shifter.
