The Holy Grail

Holy grail Jeep - LJ Rubicon.  Only made for two years.  Mixes the old school vibe of a two door Jeep with the usability, stability and off-road capabilities of a long wheelbase Jeep.  I looked for a couple years before I found this Jeep in 2020.  Less than 80k miles and already modified with the things I wanted for hardcore offroad use.  The Jeep appears very stock, but has a 5" longarm lift, full armor underneath, upgraded rollcage, and rolling on 35" tires (still on the stock wheels).  They built this Jeep right, so the gears are perefect for the tire size (5.13), and the speedometer is adjusted perfectly for the tires as well.  Everything works just as it should and the Jeep is stable at 80mph on the highway or 2mph on the rocks.  Although LJ's are soaring in price lately, we still use this thing in anger whenever we can.  It has been to Big Bend several times and Moab twice and performed very well.  I don't really have any upgrade plans other than adressing some cosmetic things thaty bug me.  I plan to keep this Jeep for a VERY long time!
