What's your favorite car-related movie and why?
Let's start a new thread where we can talk about our favorite car movies! Maybe it's a popular movie or maybe it's a random movie. What's your favorite car-related movie and what makes it your favorite?
I'll go first!
Mine is definitely Gone in 60 Seconds with Nick Cage. For the obvious reason...Eleanor! Sheesh, what a car. There are also some great lines and some other really awesome cars in that movie. It's an all-around classic that still holds up all these years later.
Let's hear your favorite!
American Graffiti movie was my favorite. Because it was portrayed in my young years- late 50's and early 60's. Graduated from high school in 1959- joined the Navy after graduation

Absolutely a great one! Love that '32 hot rod!
Gone in 60 Seconds is definitely up there for! I gotta say, Ford v Ferrari was pretty great too!
There are many great ones! For me, my FAVORITE remains Smokey and the Bandit - lots of cars in addition to the famous Trans Am - and took place in the hey-day of popularity of CB radios and 18-wheeler movies (Convoy, High Ballin', and more). However the most IMPACTFUL to me was "Herbie the Love Bug" as the Herbie movies sparked my interest in Volkswagens, which continues today!
